Thank you for your feedback on the care you received. Occasionally there can be challenges with care, and it is important that this is fully discussed with patients afterwards so that they can warn future doctors of an expected issue and ensure the most effective equipment is available in advance. Every patient is a partner in their own care, and one of the best sources of information about previous problems, so it is vital that any challenges are fully shared and clear information given for future reference. I hope you are recovering well from your operation, and would be more than happy to care for you again in future.

Dr Liz knew all my medical history and that I was only risking surgery because it was a matter of life and death. She explained the various choices I had and I followed her advice .Dr Liz was understanding caring and patience. Her after surgery visit was also welcomed as it reassures the patients that all has gone well. Dr Liz explained everything she was doing as the procedure progressed, her assistant was also very caring. Between them they made a potential frightening experience into a calm one.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I am glad you felt the discussion pre op was enough to explore your choices and to reassure you of the steps to be taken to minimise risk during your procedure. Helping patients to remain calm during care reduces the stress impact of surgery, and I believe increases the likelihood of a positive care experience. I hope you are now recovering well, and I am glad to hear I was able to support you through your care.

She truly cares about what is best for you and to help you recover better. She also caught up with me later to see how I was doing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback- it is much appreciated. Post op visiting is so helpful to make sure patients have had a good experience, and gives me the opportunity to ensure I am giving the best care possible to future patients too. I wish you well for the future.
